As title, something to take on nights out, not after a fuji z100fd as there 19mm thick, something like a sony t90 but alot cheaper, doesnt have to be awesome IQ just for nights out, something alot better than a phone however, already have a canon 5d, Panasonic LX3 etc so something cheap, cheerful, and SLIM ! (less than 15mm ideally)

Any ideas gratefully received :)

I was very impressed with my little casio....until i walked into a table with it in my pocket :(

There was small slim Panasonic model, FX or sth like that - I played with it, was pretty cool, IOS and other goodies, but dont remember the name. I'll ask my friend who still has it...
But I have to say, it was pretty hard to keep it steady in hand, because it was so small.. all option buttons were hard to push.. definitely not for big hands...

I have a 2 year old Casio Exilm (7mp) which has done me proud. Good images, small, lightweight yet well made.

My P&S is a one of the Casio Exilim series too (as was my previous one, before I dropped it lens-first onto the pavement). Very happy with it, but I'm rather a newbie, and don't have a great deal of experience with anything different. ;)

Some of the waterproof cameras might do you well. They are usually quite slim, and have the added benefit of being beer-proof

I just got the Canon powershot A480 - half price at Argos till tomorrow evening. Was £59.99!!! bargin!
