Hi all, i currently have a Canon EF-s 18-55mm and a Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM lens. My probleme is i dont know whether to sell them and buy a Sigma 18-200.. Would you say its worth the swap? Anyone please
I would say no as the Sigma 18-200 is f4-6.3 but the Canon 55-200 is f4.5-5.6. If you could get enough for the Canon 18-200 which is f3.5-5.6, that would be as fast as your 55-200, although it is £480
as dls_creations says, unless you are changing lens loads and missing shots then there is no point in buying a 'super-zoom' which will inevitably have inferior optics.
