No
I want to buy a tripod that will Hold my camera through all conditions.
I am also going to be videoing the Most so Would you recommend this tripod?
Or is it too cheap, I am looking for anything around $200-300.
Having in mind that i am new to this photography and camera world and I am just purchasing my first camera and equipment.

So will this tripod be good enough for My canon 600d eos with 18-55mm & 55-255mm lens?

Yes, it will hold it absolutely fine.

I've used a Hahnel Triad 30 lite for the past 18 months and it's survived everything I throw at it. I rarely use it fully extended as I've never known any tripod to be good on full extension, but it's a brilliant tripod and only £35 (about $80 I think?).

The only thing I would say to make sure you have is a 3 way head. Ballheads (which is what the Hahnel one I use has) aren't very nice for panning shots.

Amazon will help you out the most, but just remember what it says in my signature!

Its well over £100 cheaper on Amazon

I think you'll find she's working in Austrailian Dollars at that price, but it is still cheaper on your Amazon link but I don't know what the price will be to ship it over there.

I'm pretty sure that will be strong enough to carry your 600D plus either of the lenses you mentioned. If you have a look on the Manfrotto website it should tell you the maximum weight it'll carry.

Oh ok thanks , may I ask what is the difference between balls heads and pan-tilt heads? What difference do each make?.

if your thinking of tripod heads and want to do video work , then you will need a Fluid head so when panning the head doesn't jerk.
take a look at the Velbon C-400 which comes with a fluid head, do check what load it will take. I have this and its sturdy but not too heavy.

Work ok Just with 6lb of weight ie Nikon D300 +grip- SB900 flashgun and a 24-70mm Nikon lens and associated batteries but wouldn't really like to put it to sever test with this weight as my gut feeling that is really above its max it is designed to take.

The best 3 way head I have found is the manfrotto 804RC2 and I have it fitted to a manfrotto 055XPROP tripod is a really heavy bit of kit but will hold any weight put on it even fully extended.

Don't worry about what make of camera or lens, ask yourself what weight will the tripod and head take. So weigh your gear first then allow for what your looking at to take a few pound heavier.

Thank you! Can I just buy a fluid head instead? And put it on the tripod I'm buying? I am going to mostly do videos and take some shots? Will the fluid head work with both?

Take your pick and the will definately work with both

Link to just one site that sells them, there are many others, or your local camera shop can advise. think about getting a tripod only and a seperate head. Looks as if the one your looking at is an all -in-one- piece

Ok is this ok

???
Also I want to get a head for photos, how will I know which one to choose, does it have to be the same brand or suitable for the tripod?

If a tripod comes with its own fluid head, almost certainly you won't be able to put any other head on it. You need to go for a separate tripod and separate head from the same manufacture such as manfrotto for example

So there are a few tripods that can hold ball-heads, pan-tilt heads, etc.
and also fluid heads?
How should we know, if so can?
