Have bought from him before and would 100% recommend.

Duty + Vat + delivery fees etc.
I normally allow around 25% if importing from outside the EU.

This is a very old lens and I am not too sure canon still services it. Proceed with extreme caution, if something goes awry, you could end up with very expensive (and heavy) paperweight.

Why would you pay that much off of Ebay anyway when a reliable company like KEH is selling the same lens in better condition for $4372?

For $6000 you should be able to get the far newer 600mm f/4L IS in Bargain condition from KEH eventually, or in EX if missing most accessory parts..... And the lens you are looking at would probably be rated as bargain by KEH.They are very strict on that kind of thing.

Anyone spending that amount of cash would more than likely want to offset the outlay against their tax bill.

yeah I've bought lots of kit from Ian, he can't get the mk one 500 or 600 mm canon lenses new, waiting for the mk 2s at 8500 and £11000 respectively! eek
