Not if you shoot uncompressed 14 bit RAW with a D800. Pretty much the equivalent of a 64GB card for a D700.

I wouldn't pay this much though. You can buy a few 64GB cards on amazon fpr arpund £30 each. Takes a few seconds to switch cards.
 
A 32GB CF card will take 281 14bit uncompressed NEFs and 281 JPEG Fine shots (D800E). So a 256GB card should take approx 2,248 NEFs and 2,248 JPEGs (assuming it's a straight 8x multiplication).
 
If you switch to 12 bit losless compressed you get double that on a 32. I tried both, 14 bit uncompressed, and the other variants, and there really isn't any noticeable difference when viewed at 100%. Waste of space, unless you're shooting landscapes for huge print.
