done quite a bit of work on this image and have got to the stage where i don't know if its any good anymore. In the beginning it was all the same shades of grey through the house to the landscape so i have dodged and burned amongst other things to this, i have linked to a big file due to the fact the 800px version loses it completely

Forgive me...I don't like it. It's overcooked, but not dramatic. Of course, that's just me.

Not sure Dave. I like the idea but it seems, to me, that the house and the bg don't have quite enough seperation. The sky is great and I can see how it could worked brilliantly but its not quite there for me. sorry.
