Thanks everyone for your comments they are much appreciated.
I was surprised to get the chance of a shot or two of it in the open having watched it darting about in the hedge for some time before it broke cover.
Glad I waited !

Think it's the harsh light rather than over sharpening.

Many thanks all for the encouraging comments.
I have to say Nigel that I wasn't sure about the sharpening myself but there seemed to be no inbetween to my eye and as Keith pointed out the light did play a big factor I think in my choosing the end result.
I have to be careful that I dont keep tweaking the image as its difficult knowing when to stop I find.
