Wrist strap for Sigma 150-500

I find the most comfortable way to carry this lens when attached to the camera, is by holding the contoured hand grip of the tripod colllar, so it is pointing horizontal and upside down, if you know what I mean!

It has occured to me that if I slip or trip and relax my grip, the whole lot would come crashing to the ground. I was wondering if there was some sort of short wrist strap that would fit around your wrist and attach to the tripod collar of the lens. A sort of backup if it did fall from your grasp.

would be pretty inconvinient though, youd have to put it on and take it off whenever you went from moving and shooting.

personally i always cradle my 120-300 (similiar sort of size/weight) like a baby. makes it really easy to move about.
