The last two times i've connected my 5D3 to my laptop via USB cable to transfer images i've had a pop up box when i open EOS Utility that says

"different times/dates may be displayed on your devices, the time zone or daylight saving time settings on the computer and camera do not match. adjust the cameras time zone or daylight saving time setting"

both times i've set the correct time after disconnecting, but it keeps going back whenever i connect to the laptop the next time!
I'm surely missing something simple here, but can't figure it out!!!!
Had the camera from new since March, and not had this happen before!

sync the camera to the PC time :)

I never connect my camera to a computer - they never talk to each other! (Card readers) I also never change the times on my cameras - they stay set to GMT/UT/whatever term's in use today. Having said that, I have a feeling that my latest acquisition may use a time signal from its GPS unit, although I think GPS may work on UT anyway. Note that not many camera clocks are particularly accurate compared to a watch.
