www.karlu.com Anybody used them before?

I'm in the middle of a deal with them just now, ordered a Lastolite Ezybox Hotshoe . It ended up being shipped direct from the distributors as it was out of stock, but when it turned up it was stinking of smoke and missing parts.

Obviously this isn't Karlu's fault and they have been great so far in sorting it out for me.

Based on the experience so far I'd recommend them, but this might change if the replacement doesn't turn up:bang:

Sorry to hear that, it's good Karlu are looking after you though.

Im looking at getting a kit from them as comes with background and background stands.
 
Hi

Bought a background off them a while back. Went to order another one and a young girl just said out of stock and then she hung up.

So looked on ebay and had one with 24 hours. Shame really as until I got the sharp treatment I would have always recommended them
 
I had a few bits from them a while ago.
I think it was my black backdrop.
I don't remember having a reason to complain so I can only assume it arrived on time and in good nick :shrug:
 
I wanted to buy a couple of backgrounds from them and found myself in their area, so dropped in. The place looked abandoned, with no signs of life whatsoever. I sent them an email via their website, but got no reply. This was a few months ago now.

It's good to see that they are still going. I might have to look at those backdrops again.
