X10 accessories

Having just bought an X10, I have progressed to the stnd bloke thing, and am looking at accessories.

SO, before I get too carried away, can anyone who has / had this camera tell me what they think are:

Must haves:

At the moment I am thinking soft release and lens hood.
If you have any suggestions, and perhaps a link where to get them from it would be much appreciated.

Optional extras:

Thumb grip, filters, flash, wrist strap

Like i said, I only just got this camera, so had better learn to use it (and go through all 150 pages of the official thread). But I would like to make it a little 'nicer' - started by applying firmware 2.0 :thumbs:

hi mate
i don't find the soft release is needed at all ,and nether is a lens hood this little cam just doesn't have any problems with lens flair at all
the only thing really needed/wanted is a case

Good point - and another goody to add to the list.

I'm not so keen on the full case - esp not the price that Fuji are selling them at!!
Quite like the retro 1/2 case look.
Any pointers as to where and which case you are suggesting?

i got one of the fake leather ones from ebay (the ones with x10 on the top )
its fine ,it came with a spare battery for about £14 :thumbs:

I really like the Gariz cases, but not the price tag!

its fake leather but well put together ,its stiff enough to protect the cam
its not 100% perfect fit but its close
for the price its great value the batteries good as well (lasts longer than the fuji one!!)
id love to be able to change the battery and mem card without removing the case
and its a bit to close to the focus lever on the front
overall im glad i bought it

I'll save the seller and see if there is anything else that suits better.

Now to look at the other items ... :lol:
