X100T now or wait for X100U / X200?

Pairing down my gear at the moment, I've got way too much and I'm going for an all Fuji kit. I've got the X100S which is great however playing with the X100T it just feels like the one that's for me. I also always wanted a black one (I've got silver) however couldn't get a black one in time.

What I don't want to do however is buy the X100T only for Fuji to release an X100U with my dream - same form factor but an f1.4 lens @ 50mm equivalent, I'd even take f1.4 @ 35mm equiv then add a TC.

Any rumours as to when Fuji might announce an X100U/X200 (or whatever they'll call it). Looking at the release dates of the current X100 line it seems all over the place!

Buy for now is what I suggest, you can always sell it and replace with something newer. You could me enjoying the X100T for the months/year you'll have to wait!

Thanks for the tip , I was going to get one for £699 from digitalrev but maybe it's worth the extra 50 quid to have the fuji warranty!

There's always a newer model coming whatever you buy. Go for what you want now, enjoy it, upgrade later if you still feel the need.

Great series of cameras, I am sure a new one will arrive but the X100T is a decent price now so I would just get it and enjoy it. If the update is like the previous ones then it's unlikely to bring anything radical and very very unlikely to have any significant impact on the end result

My mate phoned Fuji UK and they said if he bought from Digital Rev they would service it if needed.He had no issues registering it on the fuji site. Might be worth ringing fuji and see what they say.
