XMP file help

Hi guys

I've received the XMP files from the agency i'm shooting for at the weekend, but have no idea what to do with them.

What application will open these and how can I get the info into Lightroom?

In Photoshop Elements I use 'File/File Info.../Import' with a picture loaded. My copy of Lightroom hasn't arrived yet (half price offer this week with Amazon) but I presume its similar.

Yeah Can see why its a problem not having this feature in LR.

Not to worry though I've managed to type out a Metadata preset using the info from the XMP file which I read by applying it to a photo in PS.

Now when importing into LR I can have the metadata preset applied on import so will save me loads of time.
