Morning all

I recently bought a canvas from xxlpix.net. I have had an account set up with them for a while but it was a special offer of £29 + vat & del (worked out at £45 all in) for a 90cm x 60cm canvas finally convinced me to get a trial order sent off and have one of my photos done up nice and big :). The offer has since finished, so I expect the price all-in to be around the £70 mark now.

Anyway, order placed late one Friday night - the next Friday the canvas arrived :)

Really pleased with it...

Apologies for the amateur nature of the product shots - but you should get an idea :)

Would happily recommend

Wow, impressive.
Is there a laquer on the canvas, and what are the corners like? I ask as a comparison to the other thread that is running on canvases at the moment (no lacquer, and corners are folded not cut).

Thanks for posting, Nick. Can I ask what the pixel dimensions were of the file you uploaded? Did you do any upscaling of the file?

A beautiful puddy-tat.

This is who I use for canvas and I can high recommend them.

The current partner price for that size, with 2cm frame is £47.35. £55.87 with a 4cm frame.

They often have some very special deals and have a huge range of possible frame sizes. I must get around to trying an acrylic glass jobbie.

I'll check the file for you tonight - my gut instinct is that it's an ever so slight crop from the 5DMkII. I doubt I'd have done any upscaling, but I'll let you know for certain later (y)

I've not checked that other thread yet, so will do so later at home and feed back to you regarding corners. Don't think it's lacquered though... Maybe 2blue can confirm in the meanwhile? :)

No to the lacquer and yes to the folded corners.
