Yet Another Spider

Found this little fella on my conservatory so thought I'd have a go at a portrait since everyone else seems to do spiders.

Got this shot, then the camera battery died and it'll be too dark by the time it's recharged :bang:

Oh well, maybe (s)he'll still be there tomorrow.

100% crop, tweaked levels and a bit of USM.

Lots of these around and some are getting quite large now too, never seen one produce ink though

Dunno what the black blob is.

Unfortunately, he was just below the gutter so I had the camera pointing up at about 45 degrees hence I couldn't get him all n focus. I notice tonight he's spun a web lower down so I could shoot square on. I'd have another go, but can you believe it, it's raining!!

I notice this got moved to Macro and Close Up - sorry mods :bonk: :bonk:

The battery is recharged and it's stopped raining so I had another go - this time caught him in the middle of lunch.
