I thought I would show people how good the yashica macro is ,,this image was done on the sony nex 5r with a cheap £10 adapter..for someone who loves macro I would recommend this lens..i bought mine nearly new off ebay for £99 what a bargain it was..nowadays I use the sigma Merrill cameras because I just love the detail the foveon sensor can produce.......I did a comparison of the canon 100mm macro is and the yashica and to my eyes I found the yashica was sharper....if I can find the samples I will post them ....if you like manual focusing and what gorgeous colours and lovely detail get yourself a yashica....I haven't been on this forum for long but I have a lot of the old lenses ,zeiss contax, yashica .Minolta,olympus...the list is endless ...since I have been using my merrils I am slowly selling off all of my lenses as I just don't need them ..but if this helps anyone I think its a good thing as some of the older lenses are superb and can be had for very good prices
