During July I made a concerted effort to get some shots of some Yellow Wagtails which were using local muck heaps to feed from. Sadly they favored the heap of sewage farm waste so the smell was unpleasant!
Posted better sized shots below - uploaded them to gallery on here first and not linked straight from Flickr!
This was the first time I'd used some camo netting as a very portable hide and I was really pleased with how little I disturbed the birds - I had a juvenile Pied Wagtail sit on my boot at one point.
The lighting wasn't always too good and the very dark background gave me some problems.
All in all I was quite pleased with the experiment!
