Yesterday's lunch stop

It was a stunningly good day in NW Scotland yesterday and this was a great place for a lunchtime snack.

Yes it was, though the excellent weather helped.

I only got there by accident. My original intention was to cross a stream about a mile away from this loch but looking at the amount of water and thinking about my 70 year old agility and balance I decided not to cross, so my plan B carried me here instead.

First glance I thought that was a person gazing out into the water, thought that's a bit off to talk about his partner like that, till I went back and looked again.
I did the NC500 a few Christmases' ago, would love to move up there permanently some time.
