Nice and sharp the colours look a little off, it seems a green in colours when it should be yellow but I think that can easily be corrected in PP

looked ok on my monitor Matt- do you think the WB is off then?

It does have a cast as the outer petals are off white now I look at the flower in my living room

I'll have a play in CS 5

Lacks definition, white balance is quite off. The Sigma 105mm is a pretty good lens, but you haven't taken full advantage of it and for a DSLR-A580, this looks pretty poor and lacks artistic focus.

I think the first one is a nice shot. I would use less of a chunky border, perhaps just a thin line of yellow to match the colour of the daff, it's a little distracting at the moment.

The 2nd looks a little odd with the blue background, it's making the flowers appear very green.

The first is a lovely shot and works well with the black b/g however i'm not so sure about the blue b/g in the second.
