:woot: Just thought I'd share the fact that as of 20:30 today I'm now the proud owner of a Nikon D700 :woot:
 
Congratulations :) Took me a while to get used to it but lovin them now. Hope you have may happy times with yours.
 
Over-rated pile of dog poo....

at least thats what I tell myself when I lust over one in the For Sale Section, or keep checking CPB to see if the price has collapsed!!!

Some of the high ISO shots amaze me!
 
Good work! I absolutely love mine, in fact my D90 now seriously feels like a toy whenever I use it, and I loved that camera. I'm after a second one now so I've got a pair.
 
Bimey they deliver late in you part of the world. Wither that or the shops open late :)

You'll love it - pound for pound I think it's one of the best DSLRs ever produced.

That'll wind up the Canon fanboys ;)

There's no better feeling than when mounting the 24-70 on it for the first time. It rivals the feeling when I held my firstborn in my arms just after he was born :D

Tell me about it - nearly sent it back after an hour ..... Now I have to re-arrange yet again "the menu" if I can remember what my D300s was set too..:bonk:

Bloody hope so - now to get out and use it with them... Hows the VRII wants going ;)

awesome, great buy. i have the same sensor on my D3 and it's beyond amazing. now get inspired and get out there and take some photos! :D
