As the title says

Im looking to get a couple of flash guns and im not to sure what to get:

I know that the Yn560 does not have TTL but is it worth it?

These will be used just as a fill light

I've got the 560. Obviously you do need to set it manually. If the flash is for cam then the 468. If you using it as a slave then you can't use ttl. Unless you use a radio trigger that supports ttl. I'm in the same predicament at the min. Looking for a second. I'm either going for the 560ii and go manual. For have the 468ii as a master and my 560 as a slave

Thanks for the reply Karl,

I have a canon 580 ex now though.

Cheers

I have a few of the 560-IIs, and for off camera use they are fantastic. Powerful with easy to use manual controls. There are far better choices for on camera use though (no TTL, auto zoom, etc).

The 468II looks to be a great on camera flash, but the limited controls make it look like it wouldn't be fun to use off camera.

They're different flashes for different roles, pick the right one for how you intend to use it most.
