I don' think you can say as good, build quality of my 560 III is just quality and it is amazing value for money.
As good as Nikon build and quality? I doubt it, but it certainly is great value for the price, I could never say that about the Nikon flash guns.

Thanks Ivan, I accept that the Nikon will probably be better built but I want to know about functionality/reliability of the Yongnuo really? I have read that the older units can be a little temperamental, are the newer ones sorted now?

Yes, the first 560 got a fair amount of (well-deserved) flak!
