Yoggie Gatekeeper

essentially its kind of a "sandbox".. personally i wouldnt bother unless you know youre going to be accessing potentially dangerous sites.

at the end of the day on my system now avast is using 13mb of 4gb, so running AV isnt exactly resource intensive if you choose the right software.

I've only go experience on Norton, Macafee and Virgin medias own tools.

I don't like Norton or Macafee....

The idea of having a stand alone tool with it's own processor seams a clever bit of thinking.

norton and mcafee are notoriously bloated (i believe newer version of norton are better now but i wouldnt touch it personally).

give avast or microsoft security essentials a whirl.

i think the yoggie is a bit overkill for the average internet surfer to be honest. if youre downloading a LOT of dodgy content i think it may be beneficial but even then decent security software shouldnt use much resource.
