Yongnuo 460ll

Hi,
Bought a 460ll flash off ebay last week,seemed fine when I got it,now a week later cant get it to fire in slave mode unless I hold my 430exll right up against the sensor on the 460ll !Is there anything I can do apart from fresh batteries(made no difference) or is it fried!!

Try fresh batteries in both flashes first..

Are you using this setup outside???

If it is bright the optical sensor wont see the flash...

I have also found that unless I remove the batteries they tend to be flat within a couple of weeks - not a problem with rechargeables but a pain with normal batteries.
