Yongnuo 603 and AF assist

Just picked up a set of these triggers. They seem great, but i have noticed that i have lost the AF assist beam. Is this linked to ETTL and therefore lost when using wireless triggers?

^^ erm.... what an odd post.

your in manual mode withese triggers, so you wont get an AF beam. If they are anythign like the 602's you cant use the pass through for ettl and have the others manual either.

The flash will emit the AF beam in manual mode when on camera. Just not off camera with the triggers.

I didn't realise this when i bought them, and it's not too major a problem. I am now looking at the possibility of a DIY AF beam to use with the triggers.
