Yongnuo Flash issue

I've owned a Yongnuo 568 ex ii flash gun for the past two years that's now stopped working... It worked the last time I used it but now it won't power on; Even with brand new batteries...

Has any other Yongnuo user come across this? If so is there possibly a quick fix or something to try that I've probably overlooked.

Try Cleaning the battery contacts with battery contact cleaner they sometime oxidise over time and don't make proper electrical contact.

Is the battery door closing properly?

There's a known fault on the door catch, but if it is dead, replacements are cheap (ish)
