Anyone use them, looking for decent cheapo for my granddaughter, Jim

I've only used the latest versions (568s flashes and 622 triggers) but I'm very pleased with them and they're much cheaper than the Canon or Nikon units.

I use a 568EX

Brilliant for its value. Although one cable was damaged, presumably from rotating the flash head. I then fired it at 1/1 and it smelt of burning plastic. The cable fried. I opened it up, received a shock and then went at it to repair the thing. Repaired and it works like new.

Honestly, a brilliant brand for cheap flashes.

Pleased with mine, seems a genuine Canon rip off copy at 1/3 of the price.

Yongnuo....Excellent choice

The TTL model I used with my Canon DSLR worked very well. The manual versions are also quite useful, but I came to prefer slightly heavier built older flashguns in that role.
