YONGNUO or NISSIN...

Looking at both of these makes for flashes for my 500d. The Nissin Di622 is £100 Amazon. There are loads of YONGNUO ones on ebay and its confusing me! Anyone point me in the direction of what I need or should buy? Thanks.

Make sure the Nissin is the mkii version the original was not compatible with wireless triggers

I have a Yongnuo YN468 for my Canon 500d, and I can't really fault it. I got it for £57 delivered new from eBay.

Thanks...can get the Nissin on amazon (so with guarantee) for £100....YN-468 is around £70 on ebay (there are also lots of other Yongnuo ones too which confuses me!) but then no guarantee as ebay...anyone else?

Why not try for a used Canon, I pondered over the two that you mention and done a lot of reading as well as a lot of looking on youtube at various reviews. In the end I thought that the pros of a used Canon far outweigh the cheaper Chinese options.

Just waiting for the 430EX to arrive next week now.
