Evening all...

to say I’m disappointed is an understatement right now and I’m hoping its just being a div.

I recently purchased this item for my D300s to give me more freedom, especially for night photography and long exposures. I bought it from amazon and in the description it explained you can lock the button for bulb mode and long exposures..... perfect

so I went out this evening after work to try it out and the unit worked a treat if being used as a normal shutter remote but I cant figure out how to lock the button for bulb mode. I have tried Google with little success.

can anyone help? There must be someone out there

A shot in the dark here LOL In Bulb mode with some of these remote releases you press the button once to open the shutter and a second time to end it.

I have the 602... On that you set bulb mode on the camera (possibly in manual too to hold the focus) then press and hold the button for as long as you want.

Not sure about the lock option on yours, but probably as the post above?

i have tried various different things including holding the button 3 seconds 10 seconds and 20 and 30 seconds also to try and activate locking the shutter release but with no such no luck

If its anything like a few of the wireless shutter release products I've used, the shutter button itself can be moved sideways or up/down to lock it in place when you press it down.

Looking at the one i have it says fully press button 3 second start bulb mode,
