YN600EX RT has stopped working. All lights up but will not fire. Bought it 12 months ago. Can it be repaired or is it heading for bin. If so what to buy next.

There is a thread somewhere with a similar problem with the YN560 series, an ic had failed in the head quite easy to replace, might be worth looking it up.

When you say "not working", do you mean that when you place it on the camera shoe and press the shutter, it does not fire?

Try using your camera's flash control menus to set Master Flash to Enabled.

The xenon tube may have failed. It can be replaced by a technician, but it may be too costly to return to YongNuo for servicing.

Is the Pilot light showing Ready? If not, try a brand-new set of Alkaline batteries to ensure that it is not a battery problem.

Used different batterys. All lights come on and sometime it struggle to come on. Pity it onll lasted about 11 months. Not used that much May look at the
Neewer® NW-985C E-TTL 4-Color TFT. |Or anyone get any ideas.

Could be the charge capacitor, dodgy to play with as it carries about 300 volts.

I suggested "brand-new alkalines" to test. It seems a pity to not try this simple test before dumping the flash, especially as using the old batteries in a new flash might produce the same effect.
