I've done an initial search but would I be correct in thinking this is the only photographer's guide book for the area please https://rigu.co.uk/photographers-gu...QURaFmwl1SFJKOD_D8YnRiwAGmN0HIuUYmA9GHXJs-6dp
Many thanksWhilst this isn't a book it does have some information that you may find useful:-

If you look at the date of the publication (2007) of the Lazy Photographer, I believe that they were produced before Ai was in the wild, it may have been in some techies blue sky thinking only in 2007!.I was thinking Yorkshire is quite big so probably has guide books for different parts (such as Whitby, the Moors, York,...)
Then I followed your link & saw it only covers the Yorkshire Dales, leaving all the above out
Scrolling through the other photographers guides on the page you linked I see their is one for the 'North Yorkshire Coast'.
I also notice they are ALL written by the same author, which suggests heavy usage of AI, and limited local knowledge.
My personal favorite photo location in Yorkshire is Bingham rocks, which might actually be in the dales but I think it was just outside.
Yorkshire is a good 5 hours drive away for me so I rarely visit unless I'm on the way somewhere which leaves me limited for time.
Hi Mike, the first book was released in 2013 and the last book that Ellen wrote was released in 2020 (it was in March or April if I remember correctly, what a month to release a travel guidebook to Iceland!), so modern generative AI was not available at the time.I was thinking Yorkshire is quite big so probably has guide books for different parts (such as Whitby, the Moors, York,...)
