When I went we walked across mirror lake, it was completely dry. I always thought people pushed the saturation on the skies in photos until you get there, the sky is incredibly blue.

I agree with you.
The clear clear colours of the valley and the sky are so vibrant as to defy explanation.
One of my favourite places on earth.
