My honest constructive opinion.

Unfortunately focus has been missed on both shots. A faster shutter speed with continuous auto focusing and faster frame rate may have helped. I also find the loose sticks and strands of grass quite distracting.Personally I would have preferred the little fella to have had the coat off also buy he may not agree? The snow is nice and white in the first shot but a little magenta in the 2nd.

Thanks for that, I was really just having a snap with a new lens, getting more used to it now with better shots, but plenty of room for improvement on my behalf.

Many dogs just have that doe eyed sad look, so loyal, butter wouldn’t melt. In that first one her/his little face is magical, you have indeed captured this.
