Hope springs eternal.... Well it does with this seller. Lens looks a bit distorted, hope it's due to the photography, not what the lens really looks like.

Have you noticed how all secondhand photographic equipment on ebay has a terrible photo of the item?

Mine aren't works of art but I at least get them exposed and focussed correctly!
 
I have one of those. Anyone want to take it off me? I'll even do it for £700? :lol:
 
The best one I saw was this aviation DVD from a company I have a bit to do with. It's been out of stock for a while but can still be bought from quite a few specialist shops for about £23ish. One guy on ebay was listing some for £350. Worst part is he sold one!!! I felt so sorry for the poor buyer who had obviously been totally pulled in by the crap the guy had wrote on the listing.
 
happens all the time, people immediately think ebay = cheap

i deal with car parts and some maindealer parts are less than half price of the prices on ebay shocking

Well asking if the listing price was correct. I got this reply :lol::lol:

" The listing price is correct at £950 and the Buy it now price is £1400. Given the rarity and quality of this lens I feel £950 is a bargain! Happy bidding. "
Mind you I forgot to ask him if a Dslr was attached to it :D
