If you live in central Scotland like me you don't have to go way up north to get some nice shots, you're actually better heading south to the borders.

Hi Andy,
Great shots mate I love Scotlad and the Borders the wife and I come up about 2 times each year with the caravan and stop at a site near Lauder.I live inNorth Yorkshire and we have some nice palces to shoot but i still think Scotland as somthing that make you want to take pics lol.We are coming back up in October for 7 days so will be out and about with the cam lol.

Thanks John, yeah the whole Borders area is pretty stunning .I took some panoramics as well i just need to get round to stitching them together.

I take your point ,i never noticed till you said , i've only been doing photography for a week so i'll have to be more carefull in future. Its very helpfull to hear peoples critiques so i avoid doing it again, thanks for taking the time to point it out.

most pics were taken at the Talla reservoir in the borders apart from pics 2 and 6 which were at New Lanark. not too sure about that weird pearly gate shot with the streaks but i thought id throw it in anyway.
