Young Roe Deer I bumped into this afternoon

Hi,

went for a bit of a hike (well I say hike, I wandered away from the car for an hour or so) this afternoon and came across this little fella nibbling away in the corner of a field, took a few shots and eventually I crossed two fences to get into the field beside him and managed to get to within about 20 yards, but struggled with the hand-held shots as my arm is still a bit weak from the break a few weeks back, I did have my tripod with me but left it on the other side of the fences as I didn't think I'd get so close carrying it with me.

You can tell from the photos that he knew I was there but couldn't work out what I was, and as long as I stayed still he was quite happy.
