Your Facebook Pages?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering who out there has a Facebook page for their photography? Presumably all the professional wedding togs? But who else? I'd love to see them all, to get a feel for how you use the page, and what you post on it.

Is Facebook useful for you? Do you get business from it?

Mine though i'm no expert, and must say i find it a chore to keep it up to date.

And the only work i've had from it is someone putting one of my pictures on their site (without my permission) and someone else seeing it and booking me. Profitable job though so now i never object to people putting watermarked images on their pages, free advertising isn't it.

they can be good for driving sales and letting your customers know of deals coming up or event photos going live etc. we use the feed API for our website news page.

How do you go about marketing them/getting likes?

a lot stem from the feed on out website i think, otherwise we do put a couple of some customers low res photos up as a teaser and invite them to share with their friends etc.

Hmm, I see. It's a struggle getting people to like the page, even if they do click on a link and are impressed by the work.
