To counter all this negative technique talk I love the model village type shots and if I ever have some spare cash to splash willy nilly it will be on a tilt/shift lens

Something that's nice to look at or
Something that's thought provoking or
Something that tells a little story.

My longest lasting little fad is probably shallow DoF flower shots. I love the colours and shapes when they take on an almost abstract look.
