Your name in photoshop

What do you guys save the picture as once you have added your name to the bottom of it?

Because i have tried saving it as JPEG but that loses the signature it's quality.>.>

Can anyone give me advise on this ?

strange, i always save as jpeg (quality 12) after i've finished editing and don't have quality probs with my sig.

I just bumped it up to 12 and it seems to be fine now
