beautiful little brds arent they my nan and grandads next door negihbour used to have loads of these little chaps and i spent hours helping him look afer them great shots Ray

Reminds me of graduate school. One of the professors had a pair of zebra finches that he kept in the live animal room. One day he forgot to latch the cage door after cleaning the cage, and the birds got loose. They managed to find their way into the ceiling between first and second floor. No one expected to ever see them again, but the next morning they had returned to their cage for food/water. They were a bit dirty! LOL

Great stuff Ray ... ... really like these little characters and used to keep a bunch of them in a mixed aviary when I was a teenager ... ... do you keep and breed them or is this someone else's aviary ... :shrug:
