Zebra Spider

Zebra spiders belong to the family Salticidae (also known as jumping spiders) who are believed to have the best eyesight of any arthropod. If you take a close look at one of these spiders it will often turn its head to look straight back at you.

Tiny little fella, an idea of size is, its sitting on a 2 pence coin.

well done, hard to capture these great little subjects, they never keep still.

Thanks

So true, darting about every where. Played with it for a while before luring it onto the coin, where it gave me about 5 seconds before darting off again.
Given its size I'm amazed at how far it can jump accurately, it was regularly jumping from my first finger to my little finger ( 10-12 cm )
quite fun actually :)
