Zenit 11 - How many shots left?

I just recieved a Zenit 11 as a gift and have a roll in it. And I'm probably being blind here but I can't find anywhere that tells me how many shots I've taken/have left. Is there one?

Isn't there a disc surrounding the shutter button/ wind on knob. It has to be reset to 1 everytime a film is loaded. Then every time the frame is advanced, the little disc moves one step.

At least thats how it was on my Zenit TTL. Never worked well, though

I understand also that the film rewind procedure has a Crypton Factor of 12, (10 being the highest), without instruction...

Which is somewhat easier than Windows 7 on my new laptop. What isn't everything analogue?
