I was kind of hoping a new Zenit would be cheaper than the $4K price tag DPR are reporting
 
Crazy or what?! Or perhaps Leica has spare production capacity, they want to sell more/cheaper cameras, but don't want to kill the golden goose with a cut price Leica.

That may be a cynical interpretation, but not as cynical as Leica actually doing it.
 
Wonder if Lada will go into collaboration with BMW next :exit:
 
I'm holding out for the Praktica FLT3-D, a boxier Nikon Df with hand grenade grips. Complete with GDR statement calling for the overthrow of capitalism in the decadent West (also a little out of date).

Bonkers.

An MTL3 doubled as useful in self-defence when in times of need. Partly due to it's low price, strong strap and the fact that it was heavier than a brick. No one in their right mind is going to take a swing at a drunk wielding a broken glass with a camera costing £4k!

[Edit] Realise that the MTL3 was a Praktica but I've never seen a Zenit used in self-defence.[/Edit]
