I recently bought the above mentioned lens. I read some good reviews on it and it seems like a very reasonably priced manual focus fisheye lens that will provide a 180 degree view on FF cameras.
However as it is a pentax m42 mount, i've run into a little bit of bother! :bang:
The m42 to eos adapter that i use for my helios and other russian m42 lens is absolutely fine, however when I mount the zenitar and screw the lens into the adapter fully the lens vignettes a little as the hood shaped front does not line up fully from top to bottom. I can correct it by unscrewing it a little and lining it up, but then the lens is not screwed in properly and secure, plus MF is a pain if the lens isnt tightly screwed in.
Any suggestions on how I can rectify this problem? One solution would be to increase the thread on the adapter but that seems quite hard work for someone like me! :bonk:
