The problem is this isn't really a like for like comparison. Generally a FF camera cropped will give better IQ, but it usually comes at significant cost and larger camera/len combinations.
I never had FF but told my APS-C DSLR for a micro 4/3 system as I found I wasn't using the DLSR because it was too bulky to carry everywhere.
Whilst the IQ may be lower in my micro 4/3, at least I have the shot as I'm more likely to have the camera with me.
I think you have to compare the specific camera body and lens combinations you're interested in as unbelievable as it seems some MFT and APS-C camera bodies are bigger than some FF bodies. For example the Panasonic G9II is bigger than my FF Sony A7III and A7cII. I mostly use wide to normal primes and when I have a compact one fitted to one of my Sony cameras there not enough bulk and weight saving to make my MFT GX80 worthwhile.
