Is the 50mm a vast improvement on the 35mm?

Hi Chudster

The 50mm appears to offer slightly lower maximum magnification, so if you want extreme close-ups, the 35mm looks to be better.

If you use the EX-25 Extension Tube in combination with the 50 f/2 it will give you 1:1 magnification.
