Wow ! I thought that my Sigma 50mm f1.4 had a shallow DOF - that Zuiko's amazing! Really sharp images too. Well done ;).

Absolutely Naboo, Olympus glass is second to none, even the kit lenses that are supplied with low end Oly models are class and perform superbly.

Oh for a D700 with Oly glass!

:D Indeed - a dream combo!

Trouble is, when I try to screw my E420 kit lenses onto my D700 body, they just fall through the hole in the front and rattle around inside :(.

;) Well, size isn't everything!

Seriously though, you're right, the basic Zuiko lenses that I have (digital and film) are optically superb and beat my mid range Nikons on sharpness and low distortion (under certain conditions). If only they had VR/IS :|.

(y) Go Zuiko!

Hi

Thanks for the comments, yes it was Ikea and B and Q. These Zuiko's rock. I managed to get off Ebay 6 Zuiko's 24/f2, 28/f2, 35/f2, 50/f1.2, 85/f2 and the cool 100/f2 for the same price as the 85L.

I hope to add more pictures soon.
