    Compact Flash Stand Recommendations ?

Some good options there thank you all , yet it seems the product i am looking for is quite elusive or does not exist ! I dont want the wait of the larger light stands and they are also to high to stick in the side of my backpack - neither do i need the weight of a tripod as it does not need to...

    Compact Flash Stand Recommendations ?

HI , Looking for a small compact light stand / tripod which will be used simply to mount a flashgun for OCF shots, needs to be able to just strap to side of cam bag and be fast and easy to use , already have big light stands and tripod both of which are unsuitable for the fast pace work and...

Canon 5Dmk3 remote app shooting advice ?

Cheers Chris , I added magic lantern to one of my old 5d2s but did not want to use it on the 5d3 as its my main wedding camera a little wary ! I already have a remote cable but find it fiddly to use and awkward in the dark and would like a phone app much more simply for ease of use.

Canon 5Dmk3 remote app shooting advice ?

Cheers guys , the only down side being is i need something to work with the iphone and that particular app looks to not work with iphone. Looking at a few others but cannot get one that seems to do all of the bits i want some are far too basic. Dont mind having to use a lead though.

Canon 5Dmk3 remote app shooting advice ?

I'm coming a bit unstuck David , it does not appear to be possible with the eyefi card after some research , so that now leaves an expensice wifi dongle or cable , did you get an app to work well with the cable for interval photos long shutters etc as that would still be good and damn site cheaper !

Canon 5Dmk3 remote app shooting advice ?

OK So i would like to get a bit 'remote' with my 5Dmk3 and looking at various options, want to be able to shoot from my 5d3 from my iphone wirelessly and would also like the ability to do long shutters , delayed firing , time-lapse etc from the phone too. From what i am gathering from the net i...

    Canon 5Dmk3 Video Question

That answers that then ! The issue i have with that is that it only records video to the sd card whilst shooting with both cards rather than the cf which i would prefer all the stuff to be on, not even bothered about a backup for the videos as they are not priority but the idea of having them...

    Beginner Please Help if Possible.

As ghoti mentioned when you do you probably are going to find a messy shot where the background is too much, one way round it would be to shoot lower with the new settings and try and get the bird with sky behind it and the city lower in the shot.

    Beginner Please Help if Possible.

It looks to me like your either using the longer focal lengths or are zoomed in and your in a fairly small area not far from the bird , therefore zooming in or using tele lens you are going to struggle as the dof is just not going to be there. Try it using the 24-105 at f11 but at 24mm then crop...

    Equipment advice - First wedding

Noise can be reduced , blur cannot ( at least not that well yet ) , you need to be more concerned with correct shutter speeds with the D7000 and 50 / 85, if its dark in venue for example you might get a shot with f2 at iso1600 1/100 sec which will be sharp but noisy, or you could opt for a set...

    Equipment advice - First wedding

I have shot dozens of weddings with only 35 and 85 full frame successfully , however there is the odd occasion where 35 is just not wide enough and I use a 16-35 on those so you have to be careful of the venue/s and check them out first. So i would think your 50 on the second body would be the...
