    Gweedore, Co. Donegal

We have a holiday house nearby. The cliffs you photographed - in black and white - reflect the setting summer sun, usually various shades of red. Hence the name. To be honest I'm usually too full of Guinness at that time to get a decent photo

    Gweedore, Co. Donegal

Donegal on a clear winter's day - hard to beat. Have never thought of Bloody Foreland in black and white. Do you know how it got its name?

    Ards Peninsula - Help?!

Give me a shout if you want to try the Lee filters - I'm not getting out enough these days! I was on the Ards peninsula last night - stunning sunset. Wasn't prepared for it (had a car full of kids returning from a hurley match). Red sky and a very low tide - red reflections in the puddles and...

Good of sense of action, Rita. Here are a few of the U8 blitz in Portaferry, Co. Down last weekend. My fella is the one in the blue helmet in the first few.

    Muckros head

This is Muckros in all it;s glory. Well done for getting it all in - tide was out and the weather calm (bad weather creates huge waves that crash off the cliff). I did a lot of climbing here years ago - very atmospheric spot.

    Loch Ness

This is great. Perhaps crop some off the bottom (rule of thirds?) - perhaps removing quite a bit of the water - this might also make it a bit brighter. Lovely colours and a very dramatic sky - exactly what you'd expect of Scotland.

    Well done with the verticals

    not happy

The product is covered under the sale of goods act and Jessops should have been making stronger representation to the repair centre - they are the selling agent and are liable. Sony warranty is good to know, but the buck stops with Jessops.

70-200 f2.8 IS or not IS?

I think this is relevant ... should the IS be on or off when using a monopod?
