    Red Snapper, first impressions

I have the 284 and rsh12. It fits in the bag! best thing to do is keep playing with trying it at different positions. Sounds a pain, but dead simple when you get it to fit once. You tend to think that two legs lie flat in the bottom of the bag, but in fact it fits with the two legs flat against...

    What Redsnapper Head?

Yes your right! No spirt level. Would be nice to have, but can't say I've missed not having one.

    Review Redsnapper RSF-284 Tripod

I made my mind up when I had a look at what else I could get for the same money. I think it's good value for money, and don't forget the 10% discount.

    Review Redsnapper RSF-284 Tripod

Quick release plate I leave fitted to the camera. It's just a couple of seconds tightening the screw up to fasten it to the tripod. The tripod legs take a couple of minutes to pull out, but I think it's fairly quick, I can't see any other tripod being loads faster.

Zip is plastic, but puller is metal. Seems well built. Only thing I would say here, is reading other posts, if I did have any issues contacting redsnapper seems to have great success. They seem to be very keen to sort any issues or improve there products.

    Review Redsnapper RSF-284 Tripod

With it being a little heavier, the upside is it is solid and fairly stable. But it does have the sprung hook to hang a weight or your bag on if you wanted to try and add more stability. As for vertical movement, it's my first ball head and it does offer a lot of different movements fairly...

    Panamoz Serial numbers

I hate to point the obvious out, but the whole tax thing has been talked about more than once in this post: http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=425562 It seems pointless having another 'debating' post about it.

    Review Redsnapper RSF-284 Tripod

Redsnapper RSF-284 I’ll keep this short; I have owned a cheap tripod from when I started with a DSLR four years ago, so this is a upgrade to a better tripod. I have handled other well-known makes (double the cost models) but can’t really compare, but would say it is well built and...

Yep this sounds good to me. I guess that because its so complicated, it's a hard tutorial to write!

    Memory cards clarification

But failures never the less! I have learnt from my latest failure. I didn't have much data, but some was import photos. I just got sloppy with backing up and thought it was and it wasn't! What ever drive or memory you get, always kept a back up because you never know.

    Memory cards clarification

Then again in a couple of years time cards will be even cheaper and you could save now and pay less then. But who am I to give advice, I always love to have the latest tech!:)
